課程目標
本課程之目的在於英文閱讀方法與策略之介紹與課外英文閱讀之實務演練，使學生對英文閱讀有一完整的認識，並激發學生英文課外閱讀之興趣，以強化其英文閱讀能力。

課程說明
以英文閱讀方法與策略之介紹開始，漸進式地引導學生了解並檢視自我英文閱讀習慣.藉由閱讀方法如	Skimming, scanning, vocalizing, sub-vocalizing 等之練習使學生習得如何運用視覺輔助visual aid, 眼球左右迴轉eye swing, 短句速現phrase flashing, 快速練習high speed practice, 及心智繪圖mind map等之閱讀策略。依時間限制，其他策略如SQ3R等亦將陸續介紹。

課程實施方式
本課程以循環式教學為方法，使學生能逐步擴充其原有知識。並借用科技之輔助，增廣並深化其學習範圍與效能。


學期評量方式：
1.	期中及期末考各佔25%

2.	平時成績為40%:如小考、課堂表現與參與度

3.	出席率10%。
