This course aims at training the students’ basic communicative ability of English.This course emphasizes the students’ basic communicative ability.  Each unit in the textbook combines communication strategy, conversation, reading, grammar, and writing.  This course is aimed at sparking the students’ interest in autonomous learning via the use of graded readers and picture books.
